Oh Hello!
I’m Sara - a dancer, singer, actor, and human being. I grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania training in numerous styles of dance and voice.
After graduating high school, I ventured to the midwest to pursue a Bachelor in Performing Arts degree at Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. It was there where I discovered the magic of musical theatre while performing in many dance and musical productions. In addition to college productions, I performed regionally in Holiday Inn, Flashdance, Mamma Mia, Cinderella, and Snow White at Surflight Theatre.
Suddenly graduation was right around the corner, and May 2020 could not come soon enough. Then BAM…the pandemic hit. The following two years were definitely unconventional. Taking dance class in front of a computer screen, belting at my voice teacher through zoom, and squeezing self tapes in between long restaurant shifts. Eventually, February 2022 rolled around and I made my Broadway National Tour debut in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. It was thrilling that my return to the stage consisted of performing on multiple stages throughout the country.
After the tour came to its end, I found myself back in my home state of PA where I would spend the summer making my swing debut in Jersey Boys at The Fulton Theatre. This was an eye-opening experience where I learned so much from my mentors and peers, onstage and off. Eventually the holidays came around and I concluded an amazing year by making my principal debut as Judy Haynes in White Christmas. It was so exciting to expand my horizons by stepping out of the ensemble and into a role.
I am beyond grateful for the theatre community and the relationships it has gifted me. While on my artistic journey, I aim to continuously learn and train while also leaving room for the other joys in my life. This includes engaging in group fitness, exploring new restaurants with friends, and traveling to Lake Wallenpaupack for quality time with family.
